From Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India, Virendra Rajpurohit graduated with his masters in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology in May of 2017. Shortly before he arrived in the United States to pursue a graduate degree, Rajpurohit got married. He has traveled back every summer to celebrate their anniversary, except for this last summer. Due to laws on working visas, Rajpurohit was not able to travel back this last summer to visit his wife and 19 month old daughter. Since then he worked for four years before moving from Mumbai, Maharashrta, India to Rochester, New York, United States in August. Gaikar is also an avid sports fan, though he only tried playing when he was in 5th grade, but did not continue. He watches his favorite soccer team, Manchester United. He had grown up traveling all throughout India with his family. Mandani's sister lives in Charlotte, North Carolina so he knew some about the U.S.. Mandani moved to Houston, Texas first to finish his schooling, then later moved to Rochester, New York because of a job opportunity up there.
Aniruddha Shukla wanted to get out of his hometown of Pune, Maharashtra, India and found the best way to do that was to be able to get a school scholarship. He was able to get one for the Rochester Institute of Technology. Despite majoring in computer science, Shukla loves the arts. Most specifically interested in free form poetry. His favorite book is The Golden Gate, which is a compilation of sonnets by Vikram Seth. Shukla enjoys emotional and realism pieces the most.	Encouraged by his parent's not to wait to long to get his graduate degree, Akshay Manjare moved to the United States from Pune, Maharashtra, India. He decided to study in the U.S. because of the opportunities and facilities that his friends had told him about.
