Aakshaye Gaikar has been interested in commputer science since he was a child. In following his dream he went to undergraduate school in India and graduated in 2013. Since then he worked for four years before moving from Mumbai, Maharashrta, India to Rochester, New York, United States in August. Having traveled almost all of India, Krunnel Mandani decided to make the move to the United States from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He had grown up traveling all throughout India with his family. Mandani's sister lives in Charlotte, North Carolina so he knew some about the U.S.. Mandani moved to Houston, Texas first to finish his schooling, then later moved to Rochester, New York because of a job opportunity up there.

Aniruddha Shukla

Aniruddha Shukla wanted to get out of his hometown of Pune, Maharashtra, India and found the best way to do that was to be able to get a school scholarship. He was able to get one for the Rochester Institute of Technology. Despite majoring in computer science, Shukla loves the arts. Most specifically interested in free form poetry. His favorite book is The Golden Gate, which is a compilation of sonnets by Vikram Seth. Shukla enjoys emotional and realism pieces the most.

Akshay Manjare

Encouraged by his parent's not to wait to long to get his graduate degree, Akshay Manjare moved to the United States from Pune, Maharashtra, India. He decided to study in the U.S. because of the opportunities and facilities that his friends had told him about. He left his job at the central government research facility called TIFR to study electrical engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
